We do not store patient data. Assessment information entered into CarePlanHQ is processed in real-time to generate nursing care plans and is not retained on our servers after your session. No patient data is stored in any database, log file, or backup system.

HIPAA Compliance

CarePlanHQ is designed as an educational and decision-support tool. Because we do not store, transmit, or retain protected health information (PHI), CarePlanHQ is not classified as a covered entity or business associate under HIPAA. However, users are responsible for ensuring compliance with their institution's privacy policies when entering patient information.

Data Security

All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using TLS/SSL. Assessment data is processed in memory and discarded immediately after the care plan is generated.

Third-Party Services

  • Stripe: Payment processing (subject to Stripe's privacy policy)
  • Google Analytics: Anonymous usage analytics
  • Anthropic: AI processing for care plan generation

Your Rights

You may request deletion of your account and associated information at any time by contacting us. Since we do not store patient data, there is no patient data to delete.
